MED'Agri Link # 5

Thursday July 9, the Regional Chamber of Agriculture Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur and the members of the Steering Committee officially announced the program of the 2nd edition of the MED 'Agri fair.

The occupancy rate of the exhibition spaces exceeds 80%, a great satisfaction for the organizing team which records the presence of 300 companies for a target of 380 exhibitors. Note the increased participation of regional dealers with practically all brands of tractors and agricultural equipment (sprayers, tillage, harvesting, cultivation, etc.). Several new brands will be present at the show, particularly in the sizing, packaging and packaging activities. MED'Agri and the TECH & BIO Rendezvous have just finalized a rich and diverse program of more than 50 conferences and workshops.

For the president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Chamber of Agriculture André BERNARD, MED'Agri is more than an economic meeting.

“This show, it is wanted by the agricultural profession, carried by the regional Chamber of Agriculture with the support of the Region and the Chambers of Agriculture. MED'Agri affirms and proves that agriculture, which is an economic force in this territory, is in full swing, in full evolution. It is through our commitment to innovation that we will meet the challenges of tomorrow, societal, climatic, food! "

You can now register for the national Natur'Tech competition, organized by the Pôle Innov'Alliance to showcase innovations in favor of more sustainable and natural agriculture.

Natur'Tech is aimed at companies and start-ups that develop innovative solutions for the agricultural sectors: services, technical, technological, digital tools but also agricultural inputs, whatever the sector of application: food, cosmetics, aromatics or perfumery. For candidates, participating in Natur'Tech allows them to promote their innovations, gain visibility, meet interlocutors likely to support their development (early adopters, customers, experts) and exchange with other players in the innovation.

You can submit your application online until September 15. All applications will then be submitted to a technical jury (September 24) which will select the finalists. The MED'Agri fair will host the national jury of the competition on Wednesday 14 October. The winners will be announced the same day at 6:00 p.m.

Several partners actively support Natur'Tech: Crédit Agricole, Givaudan, Arkopharma, French Tech Grande Provence, Perret, Bayer, Pink Lady, Obratori and Bonduelle. The competition also benefits from funding from public partners: the Department of Vaucluse, the South Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'azur Region, the PACA Regional Chamber of Agriculture and Grand Avignon.
