How to limit the effects of fusarium wilt in salad?

This pathogen is mainly present in the southern part of France and has been developing for 3 or 4 years.

How to recognize this pathogen and identify it?

For 3 campaigns, the Alpes-Maritimes Chamber of Agriculture and APREL have been carrying out experiments on the affected farms. They aim to limit its effects by alternative methods: varieties with intermediate resistance to fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lactucae, biofumigation, solarization ...

Ecophyto, a tool for teaching and producing differently

Within the framework of the Ecophyto plan, the transfer of knowledge to future farmers constitutes an important action in a context where knowledge and its implementation evolve daily and where the professions of farmer and advisor are also evolving. This round table is primarily intended for teachers, students and farmers who wish to offer their child agricultural training. The goal is to show a panel of partnership actions between Ecophyto stakeholders and public and private educational institutions set up in PACA. They are real tools for teaching differently and teaching how to produce differently.

Local authorities towards zero phyto: a challenge to be taken up together

Preserving the environment and protecting the health of citizens and users are the objectives of reducing the use of plant protection products in all sectors of activity: agriculture, local authorities, ordinary citizens, etc.

Since 01/01/2017, the use of synthetic pesticides has been prohibited in a large part of the spaces open to the public.

This new rule is disrupting working habits, the organization of communities in charge of management and maintenance and the aesthetic appearance of these spaces.

The transition to “zero phyto” is indeed a challenge!

Faced with this challenge, how to find HIS solution among the range of possibilities offered? What technical and financial means, what methods, what organization?

The conference "Territorial communities towards zero phytos: a challenge to be met together" is aimed at all communities wishing to move forward and discuss this issue.

2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Arboriculture: improved productivity and safety thanks to equipment for working at height.

Involve all stakeholders to develop prevention practices and working conditions when harvesting fruit or pruning trees. This is what the MSA initiated by bringing together all the partners concerned, manufacturer, user, public authorities, etc.

The result: a real collective awareness and active collaboration in the design of platforms and non-motorized equipment. Come and discover the evolutions of the equipment made possible by this collaborative work around a problem of health and safety at work.

Evolution of equipment for working at height during pruning and harvesting:

  • New arboricultural platform standard, what are the implications?

  • Wheelbarrow ladders, what changes tomorrow?

Meeting with Ecophyto Tomatoes, or how to reduce the use of phytosanitary products in tomato cultivation?

For the tomato sector, controlling the residues of active substances and the environmental impact of crops are major concerns today in order to meet societal expectations. Despite changes in practices, greenhouse tomato crops are still subject to phytosanitary interventions against certain particularly problematic pests, on which their technical and economic results depend. To achieve production objectives without phytosanitary inputs, technical solutions have been worked out in the experimentation network and must be sent to producers to support them in their crop protection strategies.

The objective of the Ecophyto Tomato Technical Meeting is to communicate the latest technical results available on tomato protection and to bring together around this subject all the partners in the region working on this subject. The dissemination of practical information aimed at reducing phytosanitary products in tomato cultivation should help professionals and stakeholders in the sector to move towards agro-ecological practices and meet market requirements in terms of “zero residue”.

The objective of this conference is to demonstrate from the various observations of the world of agricultural research, the State and Météo France, that our region can be recognized as a sentinel region for detecting climate change. Concrete examples and a round table will present the work and actions carried out in our region, which is also a pilot, to propose solutions for adapting agriculture.
